《What’s your hobby?》
Teacher: What's your hobby,Sue?
Sue: I collect dolls.
Teacher: Oh!Have you got any dolls from Japan?
Sue: No,I haven't.But I've got some dolls from China.
Teacher: Oh,they're beautiful!What about you,Jack?
Jack: Reading is my hobby.I've got lots of books.
Teacher: Have you got any picture books?
Jack: No,I haven't.
Teacher: What's your hobby,Taotao?
Taotao: Flying kites is my hobby.Look!I've got some Chinese kites.
Teacher: Have you got any dragon kites?
Taotao: Yes,this is a dragon kite.
Teacher: What about you,Xiaoxue?
Xiaoxue: I like riding my bicycle.That's my hobby.
Teacher: Have you got any photos of your bicycle?
Xiaoxue: Yes.These are some photos of my new bicycle.
【要求】
(1)对话教学。
(2)试讲十分钟左右。

What's your hobby?
Teaching aims
Knowledge aim: students can read 、master the meaning of the sentence of “ What’s your hobby? ___ is my hobby.”after the learning.
Ability aim: students will be able to use the sentence to describe their hobbies.
Emotional aim: Students will know the importance of the habit, and they can have a good habit after learning.

How to help students use the sentences to describe the hobbies.
Teaching procedure
Step 1. Warming up
Teacher can say hello for students, and ask a question: What am I like?
Then teacher can sing a songs.
Students will answer “singing”.
Step 2. Leading
Teacher will say today, our friends from our book talk about their hobbies.
Step 3. Presentation
1.Find the new words
Teacher asks students to read the dialogue, and find new words.Students will find new words,“ dragon ”,teacher will explain the meaning of the word with picture,and they also find the words “bicycle”. Teacher will say the word--bike , it’s the same meaning of the bicycle. Meanwhile, teacher will point the students with dragons and bicycle, let students read it.
Then play a words game---bomb.
When the “bicycle” is bomb, we should shut up and say “boom”?Are you clear?
2. Read the dialogue again
Teacher asks students read the dialogue again,and asks students find the answers“ What are taotao’s and xiaoxue’s hobby? ”
3.Find the answers
Students answer the question,meanwhile,teacher will write the answers.
Taotao:fling kites is my hobby.
Xiaoyue:I like riding bicycle.
4.Sentence’s meaning.
Students explain the meaning of the sentences, if we should describe our hobby, we can use “ __ is my hobby or i like __”.
5. Read the dialogue after teacher.
Step 4: Practise
1.Do a role play
Students will read the dialogue with partner.
2.Ask the friends
Students will ask their friends hobby. Then they will have a show, meanwhile,teacher will emphsis on the good habit is the key of success.
Step 5: Summary
Teacher will summarize the sentences.
We learn the sentence to ask their hobby, What’s your hobby? And we can answer---My hobby is ___
Step6:Homework
1.read the sentence three times.
2.talk about your hobbies with your friends.
